# Email Inbox for ChatGPT Dots: Documents and Sign-In Emails

## Connect your Revdoku inbox to ChatGPT dots

Create your dot on desktop or the web. It uses a cloud computer and browser, with plugins for connected apps. See [OpenAI’s getting-started guide](https://learn.chatgpt.com/docs/dots/getting-started).

1. Use Revdoku’s plugin if available in your plugin directory or workspace. Otherwise, use your account’s supported custom connection method. [OpenAI’s plugin documentation](https://learn.chatgpt.com/docs/plugins) explains installation, authentication and permissions.
2. Follow Revdoku’s [connection guide](/connect/). Its [hosted MCP](/mcp/) endpoint is `https://mcp.revdoku.com`; its [API](/api/) endpoint is `https://api.revdoku.com/v1`. Compatible environments can use the public [agent skill](/skills/revdoku/SKILL.md).
3. Complete the connection’s authorization flow. Allow access only to the required mailbox, then verify your Revdoku account and mailbox. Before scheduling recurring work, forward a test email and attachment for your dot to read.

## Three small incoming email examples

- **Vendor quotes:** Forward two PDF quotes. Request a comparison table of prices, delivery dates and exclusions, with links to both originals. Mark omitted shipping costs as “not stated,” not free.
- **Research-tool access:** Receive verification or magic-link sign-in emails for your own account that you’ve explicitly asked your dot to use. Keep recovery human-controlled, omit codes from summaries and require confirmation for sensitive account actions.
- **Weekly receipts:** Collect receipts and newsletters to summarize purchases and useful updates weekly.
